For most people, product reliability is important. There are some industries which are more demanding than other.

When we design a PCBA we anticipate those reliability / quality need by considering a set of parameters which got potentiality to affect product reliability.

To handle this need, we implement risks analysis via DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) process during our design phase. We list all potential occurences to get a defective product and we adapt design to those risks.

When we design electronic PCB, we also follow industries standard requirement related to our clients markets: DO-160 (Aerospace), ISO 26262 (Automotive), IEC 60601 (Medical), ATEX (Oil & Gas).

If your design has not been thought for manufacturing during the design and development process, then there is high chance that your design bring difficulty to your factory to manufacture your product. When your factory quote you part manufacturing, they usually include a cost for non quality product, aka defectives which they will need to trash to achieve your production capacity.
